Adobe Certified Associate Certification Campus Testing Model

The workplace demand for digital media skills—creating, managing, integrating, and communicating information by using Adobe’s video, graphic, web, illustration, or design software—is on the rise. The ACA certification program will help educators effectively teach and validate digital communication skills while providing students with credentials that demonstrate real-world prowess to prospective employers and academic institutions. In this workshop we will cover best practices on becoming an adobe certification testing site. We will review how to establish sustainable funding models and how to deal with certification companies. - without charging the student testing fees. We will also outline how we established marketing opportunities for our campus. Institutions may purchase an ACA Classroom or Campus Site License that includes unlimited use of the ACA certification exams with an upfront, one-time annual cost. The ACA Site License includes unlimited use of the ACA certifications using Adobe Flash, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Premier Pro in all available versions. The ACA Classroom License also includes practice test software. The ACA provides work-based learning across the WBL spectrum. The ACA certification is already being practiced at the high school level. First year students are arriving in Digital Art courses with a certification or multiple certifications. Instead of taking the first year to learn the basic software – these students are prepared to explore and apply the professional elements of a CTE program with advanced adobe skills. The ACA provides a solid base in creativity allowing the student to share, connect, opine and illustrate their ideas. The ACA impacts work-based learning across the WBL (work based learning) spectrum because it provides career exploration, preparation, and training. As a certified Adobe Education Trainer, a graphic design professional, an end user of the software and as a hired writer of the ACA Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign exams – I have witnessed the industry standards are fully integrated into the exams. * Possible ACA “best-practices” practice- exam training session can be included with presentation.

Teaching Students Key Job life Skills

Art of Execution (AOE) is the only holistic and comprehensive framework for organizational transformation which ANYONE can wield, even if you are not in a high level decision making role with a huge budget. Mastering the AOE endows you with skills to diagnose and identify the real problems as well as knowing how much of the solution you perceive can be personally implemented by you. Knowing what it is, why it is, how to fix it, and how much you can fix personally is the fruit and gift of the AOE.

Solution without a problem is just data. Here is a case study: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cqaxo2lzickp12m/Process_Ninja%20Skills-Road-To-Recovery_Oct_18_2015.pdf?dl=0

The AOE is about your or your students' mouse trap. If you are a cat, it gives you food and if you are a farmer, it resolves problems. This mouse trap has the ability to catch Godzilla but you would need to study and apply the framework. AOE is for you and it is about your journey. Whether you worked just one day professionally in your life or over 30 years, whether you got your PhD or you are studying for your GED, whether you grew up selling drugs or had a full ride to Harvard, whether you are utterly alone or a devotee, whether you are homeless or living in a mansion, this is for you. Work is unavoidable in life so why not invest time up front to acquire transformation skills starting with transforming yourself and your students? No one person can cover all the dimensions at all times, especially not me. All of us need skills training and reminders at different times.
