Connection, Combination, Contribution: Technologies, Skills and Strategies
Peter Coffee, VP for Strategic Research - Salesforce.com
A fully connected world demands something much more difficult than the greater mastery of yesterday's skills and the incremental improvement of yesterday's technologies. Fundamental and inevitable forces of demographic shift, acceleration of change, transformation of social institutions and emergence of machine intelligence combine to create an agenda for continuous learning, over longer careers, involving many more cycles of new knowledge than experienced in decades past. Peter Coffee brings the global perspective of new Fortune 500 member Salesforce, named for five consecutive years by Forbes magazine as one of the world's most innovative companies, to share both a current assessment and a set of strategies for the world in which we'll live.
