This track will look at the increasing prominence of web applications as a tool for business. It will also look at how traditional web sites are evolving from information broadcast to interactive windows into business. Topics to be covered in this track are:

  • Skills Needed: Front side, User Interface and back-end, application programming, database management and other skills needed in today's web career.
  • Convergence: The integration of creative into practical  and results driven development.
  • Project Management: Skills needed to manage a web development project and how it effects and interfaces with many facets of a business.
  • Mobile Application: A look at how mobile is the new face of the web.
